1. My Collection

1.1. How can I purchase Urban Rivals' characters?

There are two ways of purchasing characters:

• The Shop: you can use credits to purchase packs of cards.

• The Market: you can use Clintz to buy characters from other players.

You can also get hold of characters in other ways:

• Every week in the ELO and Survivor game modes, you can win Collector or Rare cards.

• By completing Missions you can sometimes get hold of both regular cards and Legendary cards that can only be obtained by carrying out certain actions within the game.

• In Events where players sometimes offer cards as prizes.

1.2. What is a Clan?

A Clan is a group of characters who fight as a united front.
In Clint City, people tend to define themselves from one another by belonging to a Clan.
You can identify with several of these clans and play alongside them.

You’ll find the list of Clans in the tab: "The Game">"Clans".

Every Clan webpage will provide you with the following information: a list of the characters within the Clan, the missions connected to the Clan, the presets in which you'll find these missions, players' comments and a whole host of other information about the clan.

1.3. What are Leaders?

Strictly speaking the Leaders are not a clan.
Whereas the characters of a clan become stronger when working as a unit thanks to their clan bonus, the Leaders do not work together.

It is better not to have more than one Leader in your deck as when more there is more than one of them, their abilities cancel each other out. But the Leaders have one distinct advantage; their abilities apply to all the cards in your deck.

Moreover, the Leaders cannot be bought in packs. You can only get hold of them by completing missions of level:

Level 5: Vansaar, Ability at level 5
Level 10: Timber, Ability at level 5
Level 15: Hugo, Ability at level 5
Level 20: Bridget, Ability at level 5
Level 25: Ashigaru, Ability at level 5
Level 30: Eyrik, Ability at level 5
Level 35: Ambre, Ability at level 5
Level 40: Eklore, Ability at level 5
Level 45: Morphun, Ability at level 5
Level 50: Vholt, Ability at level 5
Level 60 : Solomon, Ability at level 5
Level 70 : Melody, Ability at level 5
Level 80 : John Doom, Ability at level 5
Level 90 : Mr Big Duke, Ability at level 5
Level 100 : Robert Cobb, Ability at level 5
Level 150 : Memento, Ability at level 5

1.4. What is the difference between my deck and my collection?

The characters you own can be found in your collection.
A deck contains at least 8 characters and it is among these that you will find the 4 characters that will be randomly chosen for each fight.

You choose from among the characters in your collection, those characters you wish to see appear in your deck, based on your strategy.
Your deck can contain all the characters in your collection.

Important: if you remove a card from your deck, it will not disappear from your collection. The only way to remove a card from your collection is to sell it publicly or privately.

1.5. What is "My Collection Pro" for?

"My Collection Pro" allows you to organize your collection in a more orderly way.

You can quickly create a deck by clicking on the cards you wish to appear in it.

You can save your best decks as presets so you can then load them in just one click.

You can also select cards here that you wish to sell and put them on the Market or sell them to another player.

You can also classify your cards by Clan, level, name, rareness or the number in your collection.

In just a few clicks this tool allows you to act like a real Urban Rivals' pro.

1.6. What are all the options of "My Collection Pro"?

First of all, this page allows you to create decks very easily.
Click on the clan symbol to view the cards from this clan you have in your collection.
You can classify your cards by level, name, rareness, ability, bonus, power, damage or amount in your collection.

Always keep an eye on the number of copies of each card you have.
You can display a particular card by using the search field.

You can select the cards you would like to make up your deck and save them as a Preset or Define them as your deck. You can create hundreds of decks, save them and then load them easily.
You can also delete them.

You also have access to selling cards publicly or privately and even to creating an auction.

1.7. What is a semi-evo character?

A semi-evo or semi-evolved character is a character that has not reached its maximum level.

These cards are generally more expensive than evolved or full cards as a level 1 card is rarer than a card at its maximum level.
Moreover, there are cards whose abilities are active at lower levels (Jane Ramba CR, Svethlana, etc.) and these semi-evolved cards can save you stars when it comes to putting together a deck in a mode in which the number of stars authorized is limited (Extended 25)

1.8. Why are the character headers different colors?

Cards fall into different categories of rareness:

• Common: available in packs, these are the cards you’ll find most often. The background on which the character name is written is a copper color. Their symbol is (C).

 • Uncommon: available in the packs, but not as frequently. The background on which the character name is written is a silvery color. Their symbol is (U).

• Rare: available in the packs, but very rarely. The background on which the character name is written is a golden color. Their symbol is (R).

• Collector: not available in the packs. The background on which the character name is written stays the same as it was before it became a Collector card. However, the character’s name is now followed by the letters, "Cr". Their symbol is (Cr).

• Legendary: not available in the packs. The background on which the character name is written is purple. Their symbol is (Ld). These cards can neither be sold nor traded.

• Mythic : not available in the packs. The background on which the character name is written is green. The character’s name is now followed by the letters "Mt". Their symbol is (Mt).

When you acquire cards in a pack or wish to do some business on the Market, be sure to make a note of these details.

1.9. What is a Collector card?

A Collector card (or Cr) is a card that is no longer distributed in the packs.
It therefore forms part of the most expensive and rare cards in the game as it only exists in limited editions.

When a card becomes a Collector, all the copies of this card on the Market and in the Auction return to their respective owners’ collections and you are unable to sell them for a given period of time.

*Crs Soleil: The Collectors Soleil are cards that automatically became Collectors after 6 months in play.

1.11. When will the next Collector cards be released?

When a character becomes a Collector, a message will appear on website’s homepage a week before its release.
All copies of the card on the Market or in the Auction will then be returned to their owners’ collections and its sale will be blocked for a few days.

There is no point asking when a card will become a Collector as we never divulge this kind of information in advance.
There is no particular pattern governing when cards will turn into Collectors.

1.12. What is a Legendary card?

Legendary cards are cards that are not available in the shop.
They can not be sold privately or in the auction, or sold or traded on the Market.

To get hold of them, you must complete a certain number of missions.

1.13. What is a Mythic card?

Mythic Cards are the last link in the chain: a Collector card that becomes Mythic disappears permanently from the “coffers” and are only found on the Market or distributed in the top rankings of the EFC mode.

The color marking out their rareness is emerald.

1.16. How do I go about selling my cards?

As your collection expands and you want to sell off some of the excess cards in your Collection, you might be wondering how you can go about doing that.

It couldn’t be easier. There are 3 ways of selling available on each of the cards in your Collection or as an option in your Collection Pro.

Public: selling in the Market.

Private: selling directly to a player.

Kate: selling to the Clint City bank for a fixed price per card.

Public sales allow you to decide how many Clintz you wish to sell your card for.

To carry out a public sale, you have two options available to you:

Go to your Collection and click on the card you wish to see in “Public”. Next select the amount of Clintz you want for the card and then simply wait until another player decides to buy it.

Go to your Collection Pro and select the card or cards you wish to put on sale.

Then click on “Sell”, select “Public sale”, choose the quantity and amount in Clintz you would like for each card and confirm your choice.

To carry out a private sale, you have two options available to you.

Go to your Collection and click on the card you wish to sell in “Private”. Next select the amount of Clintz you want for the card and write the exact nickname of the player to whom you wish to sell. Then you simply have to wait until the player in question decides to buy it.

Go to your Collection Pro and select the card or cards you wish to sell. Next click on “Sell”, select “Private Sale”, choose the quantity and amount of Clintz you want for each card and enter the exact nickname of the player to whom you wish to sell. Then you simply have to wait until the player in question decides to buy it.

IMPORTANT: When you fill in the price fields, write the figures side by side (10000 and not 10 000 or 10,000).

Sales to Kate can take place through the collection or the pro collection.

To sell cards to Kate:

Go to your Collection, click under the card on “Sell to Kate for XXX Clintz”.

To sell cards to Kate through the pro collection, select the card or cards you wish to sell. Then click on “Sell”, select “Sell to Kate”, choose the amount you would like for each card and confirm your choice.

The multiple sales system in the pro collection enables you to sell in public, to Kate, or in private, several copies of different cards simultaneously. Select the cards you wish to sell, their level and the number of copies. Then click on the “Sell” button. A window displaying the cards for sale, the individual price (index-linked to the minimum market price), the total price and Kate’s tax will then appear on the screen. The individual prices can of course be changed, unless you are selling to Kate.

1.17. How do I evolve my characters?

To move your characters up a level, you need to fight other players.
At the end of each fight, your characters will receive experience points. Once they have enough experience points, your characters will move up a level.

But there is also an XP reserve. This fills up as you play with fully evolved characters.

It is available in “My Collection”, "My Collection Pro" and at the end of each fight on the experience tab.

2. Collection ranking

2.1. What is collection ranking?

Collection ranking is a real-time ranking system of collectors. It is available here.

2.2. How are collection points calculated?

The points system awarded to each card is as follows:
Common = 5 points per evolution.
Unusual = 10 points per evolution.
Rare = 15 points per evolution.
Leader = 20 points per character.
Bronze Collector = 30 points per character.
Silver Collector = 40 points per character.
Gold Collector = 50 points per character.
Legendary = 60 points per character.
Mythic = 80 points per character.
Bonus for obtaining all a Leader’s evolutions = 20 points
Bonus points for the Big5 = 50 points per character.
Bonus for obtaining all a Big5’s evolutions = 50 points
Bonus for obtaining all a Mythic’s evolutions = 80 points
Bonus for obtaining all the legendary cards = 500 points
Bonus for collecting an entire clan with all its evolutions = 500 points

3. My Deck

3.1. How to build a deck

You can build several decks and register them to use at a later date.
First of all, go to your pro collection at: http://www.urban-rivals.com/collection/pro.php
Build your deck by clicking on the cards of your choice.
You can sort the pro collection list of cards by clan, alphabetical order, abilities, number of stars, power, damage, etc.

Once you’ve built your deck, click on: “Save as a preset”. You must then name your deck so it's easy to find.
You can build as many as you like in this way.

3.2. What is a Preset?

A Preset is a deck that has been made public. You can view all the Urban Rivals’ presets by clicking on Community > Public Presets

You can also publish your own presets.

3.3. What do the points at the top of each Preset mean?

These points are the votes cast for the preset by other players. Every player can vote once for a preset, either favorably (green face) or unfavorably (red face). The better suited to a game mode and the stronger your preset is, the more points it will earn.

Please remember that preset points naturally decrease over time.

3.4. How do I make my preset popular?

To make your preset popular, you need to bear several factors in mind:

1. Its strength. The value of the cards that make it up and the way they are combined are largely what account for a preset’s popularity;

2. Its compatibility with the game mode. Every game mode has its own restrictions (the bans in ELO, the number of fight points in the Tournaments, etc.) The more your preset takes this restrictions into account, the more successful it will be;

3. Its visibility. The more gaming friends you have and the more you talk about your preset in the appropriate forum subjects, the more players will be likely to see your preset and vote for it.

3.5. How do I choose the game mode for my preset?

Once you’ve built and loaded your preset as your deck, you need to choose an appropriate game mode for it. You can do this by clicking on the drop-down menu under its description.
