1. How to install the game.
1.1. On the web
The game is embedded into the web browser for more up-to-date computers.
- Firefox supports this since version 4 (July 6th 2010)
- Google Chrome since version 9 (February 3rd 2011). The -ChromeOS version uses OpenGL ES, the Linux version uses OpenGL since about version 45.
- Safari supports WebGL since its 5.1 version (July 20th 2011)
- Opera since version 12 (June 14th 2012)
- Internet Explorer is the last of the large browsers, with its version 11 released on October 17th 2013.
- Mobile versions of Firefox, Opera and the Blackberry browser also support WebGL4.
WebGL is available to more than 98% of users on Windows 7 or later.
Please note: depending on your settings, the first game download can take quite a long time. It can take between 2 and 10 minutes.
Any subsequent downloads are pretty instantaneous as the data is cached.
How do you enable WebGL in Chrome, Firefox and Safari?
If you want to use the "real" 3D with HTML5, you must go to WebGL. Recent browsers support this technology. For Internet Explorer, youll have to wait for version 11.
Chrome
Enter about:flags in the address bar.
Look for WebGL then enable this option.
Firefox
Enter about:config in the address bar.
Look for webgl.force-enabled and change the value to true.
Look for webgl.disabled if this value exists and change it to false.
Safari
Open the "Safari" menu and select "Preferences".
Click on the Advanced" tab.
Select the field "Show Develop menu in the menu bar".
Open the "Develop" menu and click "Enable WebGL"
If your browser is up-to-date, you wont have to do anything, except for Safari which doesn't enable WebGL by default.
1.2. Downloading the game
Urban Rivals is also available for download.
With PC and Mac executable files, you can install it like any other piece of software.
And when updates occur, you will be alerted by an in-game message.
Then you just need to download the latest version which will overwrite the previous one.

3.18. How does the Tie-break ability work?
During the entire fight, if your attack is equal to your opponents, you will always win the round. If your and your opponents Life points are equal at the end of the fight, you will win the fight. (These effects are cancelled out if your opponent also has the character)
3.19. How does the Consume ability work?
The Consume ability makes your opponent lose X Pillz after each round up to a maximum of Y. This ability is applied as soon as the round in progress is over.
(If two Consume are applied, the second will replace the first as soon as the latter takes effect).
3.20. How does the Equalizer ability work?
This effect is multiplied by the level (number of stars) of the opponent's card it is up against.
3.21. How does the Xantiax ability work?
Whether the character wins or loses the round, the two competing players lose X life point(s) or up to a minimum of Y life point(s).
3.22. How does the Tie-break ability work?
The damage of all the cards in play cannot be reduced (as if every card in play had the Protection: Damage ability).
3.23. How does the Dope ability work?

The GhosTown clan introduce the new Night and Day cycle. A characters Night and Day ability or bonus will change depending on the time zone Clint City finds itself in. Its important to know that Clint City moves from day to night every four hours. You can keep track of what time it is in Clint City in real time.
3.25. How does the Brawl ability work?
The effect is applied for all of your opponents characters who belong to the same clan as the character fighting in the current round. Remember this also pertains to the character who is fighting.
Here an example with Schatzi, the first character having this ability.
Schatzi and his GHEIST counterpart, ARN 2000, introduce a new condition: BRAWL. The more cards of the same clan the opponent has in its hand, the stronger this character becomes!
Lets see how Schatzis Brawl works with some examples: If the opponent has 4 cards of the same clan in hand, Schatzi will get +4 power and +4 damages. If the opponent has 2 cards of a clan and 2 cards of another in hand, Schatzi will get +2 power and +2 damages. If the opponent has 1 Gheist and 3 Jungo in hand and if you play Schatzi against a Jungo, it will get +3 power and damage! But against the Gheist, it will get +1 power and damage.

4.3. The EFC Mode : DECK RULES
DECK RULES
The deck rules of Leagues mode are as follows:
The sum of the levels of the characters within your Deck cannot surpass 25.
Your Deck cannot contain fewer than 8 characters.
Your Deck cannot contain doubles.
Only cards from the current level are allowed.
There are 6 different Zones:
1- Dark corners (0-199 elo)
2- Chocomuscle ring (200-399 elo)
3- Danger zone (400-599 elo)
4- EFC Tower (600-799 elo)
5- Polit arena (800-999 elo)
6- Z palace (1000+ elo)
All players start on the "Dark corners" level.
On this level, as in T1, you can play with any card you like.
When you win, your score increases which enables you to access the next level.
The more you progress, the more restricted the list of authorized characters becomes.
On the "Z palace" level, no more than the last 10 characters released from each clan are authorized.
On the "Polit arena" level, no more than the last 20 characters released from each clan are authorized.
On the "EFC Tower" level, no more than the last 30 characters released from each clan are authorized.
On the "Danger zone" level, no more than the last 40 characters released from each clan are authorized.
On the "ChocoMuscle Ring" level, no more than the last 50 characters released from each clan are authorized.
On the "Dark corners" level, all characters are authorized.
However, there are a few exceptions:
Legendary cards will always be authorized on every level.
The last two Leaders to be released (currently John Doom and Melody) will be authorized on the "Z palace" zone. The last four Leaders to be released will be authorized on the "Polit arena" zone. And so on, with two additional Leaders being authorized as you descend through the levels. For example, all Leader cards will be authorized on the "Dark corners" zone.
Cards that are deemed too powerful will be banned on certain levels. If a card is banned, it will be replaced by the next card in the list of unauthorized cards.
Example:
Below is the list of the 10 latest releases from the Frozn clan:
Eleanore, Lowki, Nunavik, Drak, Suqi, Tormentah, Ymirah, T-We-1, Friskah and Onnah
Lets say that Ymirah is banned from the final Z palace level. The 11th latest release from the Frozn clan, Arlene, will then be authorized on this level, replacing the banned Ymirah.
But dont worry, by using your collection and pro collection, you can easily filter the authorized and banned characters on each level thanks to a new deck rule called "characters authorized on the X level".
BALANCING THE FORMAT
For this first season, the list of banned cards on each level may be slightly adjusted every Monday.
We are currently working on rebalancing the stats of LD and Leader cards as these will become more important in Leagues mode, as well as the stats of many of the semi-evolved cards.
We only want to use the Ban from X level tool as a last resort in the case of very powerful cards. We would rather adjust than ban a LD/Leader/Semi-Evo card that is too powerful, but still playable.
Every Monday, well inform you of any adjustments weve made.

There are daily, weekly and seasonal rewards, and the higher the level, the greater the rewards.

The weekly and seasonal winnings vary according to your position in the players ranking tables.
However, to be placed in the rankings, you must play at least 5 matches per week.
The weekly rewards are distributed every Sunday, just after midnight (Paris time).
The seasonal rewards are distributed at the end of each season.
