The Market

How can I become a Clint City trader? Find out here!

1. Clintz

1.1. What are Clintz?

Clintz is the Urban Rivals’ currency. It allows you to acquire cards in the Market.

1.2. How do I get hold of Clintz?

You can get hold of Clintz from the shop.

You can buy packs of Clintz using Credits.

The quickest way to win Clintz is to take part in the various tournaments available in Urban Rivals:

- The Daily Tournaments

They enable you to win Clintz and Credits in a balanced way.

- The Survivor Mode

This game mode allows you to amass lots of Clintz if you manage to stack up the wins.

- You can also get hold of Clintz in an easy way by selling cards on the Market.

- If you feel that luck is on your side, you can also play the slot machines available in the Flash game.

1.3. I’ve sold a card but have been given less Clintz than the price I asked for. Why is that?

This is because of Kate’s 5% commission.

For every public or private sale, Kate receives 5% of the total sale price.
This tax is clearly displayed in every sale confirmation pop-up.
It can decrease with the associated guild bonus.

2. Public Sales

2.1. How do I sell a character on the Market?

To carry out a public sale, you have two options available to you:

Go to your Collection and click on the card you wish to see in “Public”. Next select the amount of Clintz you want for the card and then simply wait until another player decides to buy it.

Go to your Collection Pro and select the card or cards you wish to put on sale.

Then click on “Sell”, select “Public sale”, choose the quantity and amount in Clintz you would like for each card and confirm your choice.

The multiple sales system in the pro collection enables you to sell in public, to Kate, or in private, several copies of different cards simultaneously. Select the cards you wish to sell, their level and the number of copies. Then click on the “Sell” button. A window displaying the cards for sale, the individual price (index-linked to the minimum market price), the total price and Kate’s tax will then appear on the screen. The individual prices can of course be changed, unless you are selling to Kate..

2.2. How do I buy a character in the Market?

To buy a character in the Market, just go to the Market, find the character or characters that interest you in the list using the various filters, then click on the "Buy” tab on the line of the card you wish to purchase.

2.3. What happens to public sales after 72 hours?

If a card has not sold 72 hours after it has been put on sale, it will be returned to the seller's Collection.
This limit can be increased using the appropriate Guild bonus.

2.4. I don’t seem able to sell my characters in the Market!

We remind you that urban Rivals is a completely free game.
To be able to sell characters and buy them privately, you need to have reached level 10.

2.5. While I was in the Market, I was asked to enter a security code. Why?

Our anti-script system on the Market automatically detects when a determined number of action in a specific time are made.
When it happens, you have to prove you are human thanks to a pop-up asking a security code. If you don't type that code, the Market will be locked for you during a period calculated on the total number of your actions.

2.6. Why has my access to the Market been blocked?

Our system has detected a script/bot activity and has automatically deactivated the access to the Market during a period calculated on the total number of actions made by this script/bot. We can unlock the access to the Market but you have to know that it will be locked if it happens again.
In addition, if this problem happens again, a sanction can be taken. It can even be a ban (read Article 6 of our T&Cs)

3. Private sales and purchases

3.1. How do I carry out a private sale?

To carry out a private sale, you have two options available to you.

Go to your Collection and click on the card you wish to sell in “Private”. Next select the amount of Clintz you want for the card and write the exact nickname of the player to whom you wish to sell. Then you simply have to wait until the player in question decides to buy it.
